MEMBER COMMENTS:
Mary Partlow and Ann Barron let everyone know that the grass would not be mowed in certain areas because they are trying to let the wild flowers grow and seed. Signs will be put up stating not to mow in those areas.
Sandra Williams asked why the gate at the end of Scales Road had been closed. Sandy Hagen said it had to do with the turkey hunt. Gate seems to be closed all the time. Ann Barron wanted to know why the fort is having a turkey hunt if this is a bird sanctuary. Bertha Howell expressed her concern about hunting during holidays when families come to visit. She also said that some gates are not closed properly. Sandy Hagen addressed her issue. Questions were also asked about ATV’s on the road as well as on the trails. Signs going into the trails state no ATV’s. Bill Haenn stated that these were FCS MUD issues not FCS security. We will try to have someone from MUD and security at CC next meeting to address this concerns.
Jan Metcalf mentioned the benches put out at the school bus tops for the children. Monique Jensen mentioned that they were only put in the areas where the bus does not go into the units.
Woody Fritter wanted to clear up some rumors about her place in Unit 1.
Dave Marshall asked why CC had to pay rent and electric for Shafter Hall. Allison explained that we use to have BINGO. Norma Rowland is in the process of discussing our contract with the new DOA.
