Secretary’s Report: March minutes by Janet Miller, read by Frances Bitter - Motion for approval by Dennis Leff, 2nd Frances Bitter, approved by all.
Treasurer’s Report: Frances Bitter – Motion for approval by Dennis Leff, 2nd by Richard Moore, all approved.
FCS Community Council Checking Account
March 31, 2025 ending bank balance $6696.68 (checkbook and bank balance reconcile) Note: $.35 in reserve for forklift, $1238.91 in reserve for Post Theatre Concession Stand remodel.

Raffle Checking Account
March 31, 2025, ending balance $4811.86
Vice President vacancy was filled by Maria Martin.

Total income was 19558.97. Thank you Sponsorship Committee.
Total expenses $12941.95
Net income $6617.02
Membership voted to leave $5000 in FCD account for next year’s startup, to donate $5000 to Preservation, and keep $1000 back in case it is needed for Ghostly Tours.
Feedback from Meet the Candidates Forum – went really well. Thank you to Alicia Christian for moderating.
Unfinished Business:
Adult Center – (planning stage) Sharon Wolfe will help with getting information and why no Historical Marker on Adult Center (old hospital).
FUD Asbestos Remediation in Adult Center is still with GM. Before any remodeling can be done, the bat guano will have to be removed, and bat entrances closed up.
Post Theatre Concession Stand has been remodeled by Rick and Mary Ann Oliver. Thank you for the job well done. It’s so nice now and came in under budget.
New Business:
Up Coming Events/Fund Raisers: Spring Raffle will end May 31.

Pickleball Plans – Mary Ann Oliver has started a fundraising campaign to turn part of the tennis courts at the golf course into two pickleball courts. She is accepting donations for the community to make this happen.
Future Basketball and Tennis Courts (Planning Phase) – Rick Oliver and Richard Moore are checking to see what kind of foundation is on the tennis court at the Fitness Club.
Operation AED – Tom Kovacs is working on box for Fitness Center AED so it can be mounted outside for easy access.
Community Concerns:
Spectrum Reported Damages Progress – ongoing. All members are asked to turn in any damage reports to GM so she can follow up with Spectrum to fix any damaged areas.
