The January statement has a balance of $1,079.39. FCD account showed a Dec. balance of $6,874.88. Jan. balance was $7,874.44. Balances are posted on our website.
Secretary report- January minutes were approved via email and posted on our website.
OLD BUSINESS
Scholarship- Kathi let the members know that we met and voted to not award a scholarship this year because we don’t have enough money in our account. This was the second year we have not awarded one.
Ghostly Tours- Allison discussed the fact that we have not had this venue in 2020 and this is our biggest money maker. For that reason, our account has very little money in it.
Movie night- Kathi let the members know that the board voted to discontinue movie night until further notice. Reasons. It operated at a loss last year, but Covid may have affected the attendance. The copyright costs more than we make per movie. We cannot find anyone that would like to head concessions. Allison noted that the Christmas movie for the school children in the past years does not cost us anything as the movies have been donated.
NEW BUSINESS
Fort Clark Springs Association Forum following Community council meeting.
MEMBERSHIP COMMENTS/CONCERNS
None.
Next meeting March 12, 2022, at 10:00 am in the BOD room.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 9:45 am.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathleen Warm, Secretary
