Allison Watkisnson gave treasures report motion carried and approved
Changing the way, the report is done. Audit report in Feb.
OLD BUSINESS: Elections
Allison explained who was elected and who was board appointed, by laws on elections
Gina Forister for President, Charles Fields for Vice President, Dennis Leff for member at large and Melissa Simon as secretary
Motion carried and approved for open ballot. Gina Forister and Charles Fields were voted and approved
Judy Winchell did the swearing in of the new president, vice, president, member at large and secretary
BYLAWS CHANGE article 3 SEC 3D to take out 2nd VP as bingo monitor since we don’t do bingo anymore
Can be added back in if we ever decide to start bingo back up. Motion carried and approved
OLD BUSINESS: recycle center signs, motion made and approved to present at the next BOD meeting for a stop sign to be placed at scales road leaving the recycle center
CORRESPONDENCE: KC Arts Council received a $1500 grant for the Mouzilla Theater Co.
Fort Clark Days update, still looking for vendors, living historians are all set, dog tags to be issued to living historians and volunteers for a meal on Sat. and then keep as a souvenir.
COMMUNITY REPORTS: Garden Club 2nd Thur of each month. Flower show in April, will have a display at Shafter Hall for FCDs, Field trip in March, last years no mow wild flower project will not continue this year, flower boxes have been planted and doing well 2
Historical Society 4th Sat presentation, FEB 4th 7pm Post Theatre music
ARTS COUNCIL home tour was a success
FROINTER CHRISTMAS good turnout, willing to share vendors list for FCD
NEW BUSINESS: Movie at Post Theater showing The Secret Life of Pets at 2/5/8
Grant Presentation to KINNEY COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL, Community Council partnered with Arts Council to get the grant
Church Alliance report that May 4th is National Day of Prayer and that they would be doing a sunrise service for Easter in the amphitheater
MEMBER COMMENTS reminder of the KC Livestock Show and BBQ lunch
