Secretary’s Report: Janet Miller read April report written by Frances Bitter. Maria Martin motion for approval, Janet 2nd, all approved
Treasurer’s Report: Frances Bitter – Janet Miller motion for approval, Maria Martin 2nd, all approved
FCS Community Council Checking Account
April 30, 2025, ending bank balance $16,718.53 (checkbook and bank balance reconcile) Note: $ .35 in reserve for recycle forklift. $1,238.91 in reserve for Post Theatre remodel. $7,036.00 in reserve for Pickleball
FC Days Checking Account
April 30, 2025, ending balance $5,000.00
Raffle Checking Account
April 30, 2025, ending balance $4,966.02
Committee Reports:
Pickleball – In planning stage – More donations needed.
Spring/Fall Raffle – Drawing May 31, Alicia Christian stated committee is looking at possible cruise next Spring. Gun Raffle will start in Oct with suggested drawing at Jan 1st Hangover Brunch.
Unfinished Business:
Adult Center: FUD- Sharon Wolfe contacting Tony Gonzales
New project: Frances/Richard looking into getting the pool hall open again. Use a card reader system (like gym) & cameras.
AED: Alicia stated her & Tom Kovacs going to RV park to check locations.
New Business:
Future Basketball/Tennis Courts by Gym (planning phase) – pending
Stable Repairs: Sharon Wolfe request CC to assist. Richard will get with Linda O’Brien – CC would be happy to help. Requesting proposal with detailed cost. – Pending
Fort Committees/Clubs, etc.: Richard suggested we all meet once a month to strategize how we can help each other. Need to get schedules - pending
Community Concerns:
Loose Dogs: Frances stated – ARC handles with automatic $250 fine for 1st offense. Write report at office – Location, description, pictures (if possible). NOTE: Note all dogs must be on leash or behind fence. You can remain anonymous.
Contractors: Richard gave Matt information for Contractors Registration to review & possibly use.
Several members spoke on security not properly tagging vehicles or allowing people on without proper notification or clearance.
