Secretary’s Report: Janet Miller – Motion for approval by H.N Bitter. Frances Bitter 2nd, all approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Frances Bitter – Janet Miller motion for approval, H.N Bitter 2nd, all approved.
FCS Community Council Checking Account
April 30, 2024, ending bank balance $10,753.88 (checkbook and bank balance reconcile) Note: $88.35 in reserve for baler, $3,000.00 in reserve for Commissary bathroom.
FC Days Checking Account
April 30, 2024, ending balance 7,057.58 (should be $8,378.10 due to bank cleared $1,020.52 for Silver Eagle Beverage twice and $300.00 First Friday Movie Charge that should not be CC)
Raffle Checking Account
April 30, 2024, ending balance $4,963.35. (raffle sales closed)
Committee Reports:
Fort Clark Days: Frances got Chick-Fil food truck contact information. Stephanie will get with Mary Ann on musicians’ grant- Texas Art Commission, underwriting Texas Performers.
Raffle: Tom Kovacs said #2 raffle started $600.00 sales Tom verified D&D has both guns.
Unfinished Business:
Commissary - Bathrooms – New GM Charlena Cavender has Market Days Event June 1st – had toilet plumbing issue fixed & new toilets installed. Still need painted.
Bugle Box – Tabled till next meeting.
Adult Center: (aka The Old Hospital) – Alicia Christian was not at meeting but told Stephanie she is still looking into FUD program. Frances motioned to move $3000.00 from Commissary to Adult Center Janet 2nd, All Approved
Edin Brochin Wine and Movie: not in attendance. Frances will reach out about proposal. Tabled
Great Texas Birding Classic: Tabled
Road Striping: No progress :{ Tabled
Post Theatre: Memo stated John Wylie interested in repairing floor and not on list of urgency. Danny Calderon sending information to friend that restores historical buildings. Still need west wall drainage completed. Tabled
New Business:
Ghostly Tours: Vanessa and Cassie contacted Stephanie to find out if CC would be doing Ghostly tours or support Fort doing. We will support as of now. More discussion required.

Steve Giblin stated Fort Clark Road back gate still only being closed 50% of the time.
