Meeting Minutes October 9, 2021

Board trustees present: Natanya Watkinson, H.N. Bitter, Tyeanna Johnson and Kathleen Warm via telephone. Absent: Dennis Leff.
Meeting called to order at 9:33 am.
ITEMS DISCUSSED
Ghostly Tours. Wagon tours will start at 7:30, last about 50 minutes and the last one will start at 10:30. We also have a reservation for an entire wagon of 15. We will have self guided tours for those that want to do it on their own in a golf cart. Allison has all the information on our website. Lisa Vale will help with checking people in. Judy Aleckness will help with the refreshments in Rendezvous Park. Front of Fort will be decorated this weekend. Dickman Hall and Adult Center will be decorated Oct. 22 and 23. Board approved the purchase of fairy lights.
FORT CLARK COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING
Meeting held in the BOD room and called to order at 10:00am by Natanya. 5 members present.
Invocation: H.N. Bitter followed by Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes: Minutes of September 11 were approved via email and posted on our website.
Treasurer's report: Community Council balance is $324.40. FCD account is $7,342.26. Report is posted on our website.
Email votes: Purchase of 2 canvas flys for FCDs for reenactors-approved. Cancellation of Ghostly tours-approved. Rescheduling of Ghostly tours-approved.
OLD BUSINESS
FCDs. We purchased 2 12x15 canvas flyers. Bob Hendricks noted that he needs 1 8ft. 2x2 , 2 12 ft. 2x4s, 12 ft. of thistle rope, and some metal spikes. Donations are needed by Feb. 1st, so please contact him. His information is on the FCD website.
NEW BUSINESS
Ghostly Tours. Volunteers are still needed for directing traffic, set-up, clean-up, and serving refreshments. We will have 2 wagons. Tickets must be purchased online. Self-guided tours are $7.00 for 2 people in golf cart and $12:00 for 4 people. Routes will be passed out. Two big events occurring on same two nights-Fri. football and Sat. trick and treating. H.N. Bitter will be at the museum. Lengthy discussion about getting Honor students to help out, volunteers for directing traffic, handing out programs, setting up and cleaning up. Volunteers for Lady in Blue and Lady in White are needed.
Announcements FCD Committee will meet Oct. 27 at 6:00 pm at the Adult Center.
Historical Society is looking into having the leaks on the third floor of the Commissary repaired before the floor caves in.
We will sponsor the "Meet the Candidates Forum" at our Feb. meeting, and will contact the Election Committee to keep us informed.
Club reports None.
Next meeting is Nov. 13 at 10:00 am in the BOD room.
